Film Works: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Have you ever watched a great movie and found yourself talking about it hours even days later? Found yourself debating the finer points of the film with your friends – was it meant to be in there or just a pleasant accident? How did the writers create that story? Was it the writer or the director who made that decision? If this is you…then you need to attend.
Join us June 14th from 6:30 to 9:30pm at Harkins Theatre in Tempe Markeplace as we watch and discuss Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Chris LaMont (ASU Professor of screenwriting, founder of Phoenix Film Festival and screenwriter) will lead the discussion after the film and dive deeper into the making of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. If you love film and love debating the finer points of film, you will not want to miss this.
Chris LaMont is a multi-hyphenate in the film industry. He’s a Professor of Screenwriting at ASU, the Founder of the Phoenix Film Festival, and a member of the Writer’s Guild. For the last twelve years, he has been writing with fellow ASU Alum Joe Russo, and have had five films produced in the last three-and-a-half years, including the soon-to-be released Netflix supernatural horror film “The Inheritance”.
While this screening is free – donations are being accepted and appreciated. Any amount helps.
This project is partially funded by a City of Tempe- Community Arts Grant.
